IALWAYS remember my father opening the door to two religion salespeople, "How are you today, sir?" "Great thanks, but not well enough for religion." And it was over as quickly as it had begun. I was so impressed and have vowed to imitate him with all kinds of improvisations, "Great, but not well enough for windows/guttering/a new driveway." But I've never managed it.
